Energy Sustainability
The power requirements of a typical SWRO plant are a big concern. The Snow Stone solution is based on wave-powered high pressure pumps that incorporate a Pelton Wheel (power/pressure recovery devices specialised for pumping). The system is controlled with sensor systems using SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and an integrated PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). This technology is implemented in all next generation plants. It provides for a solution to the large power requirements of SWRO.
This solution can also be an upgrade addon for existing, stand-alone and new plants. For plant system technology and office power supply, a turbine is used. These systems have Blue Economy Foundations (BEF). In sum, it provides for Green Clean Energy replacement by eliminating SWRO power consumption from the grid.

Principles of Operation
1: Intake
The saline solution enters the hydro-generator system
2: Turbine
Massive turbines rotate with the flow of water and propel the solution further down the system
3: Generator
The rotation of the turbines is used to drive an electric generator
4: Power
Electric power is captured and diverted to other parts of the facility
